Works with 2 Factor Auth from many companies like Charles Schwab, Revolut, Google, LinkedIn, etc.
Our Mini Plan with 50 text messages has a mini price.
No need to manage sim cards or maintain an address.
Your own private phone number to receive SMS.
Hi! I'm
Conor. I'm building
expatpho.net
to help out expats like myself. Often we have bank accounts and other
online accounts in our home country that require a country-specific
phone number. Instead of paying for an expensive mobile phone contract
at home, you can use our minimal setup to receive your messages
anywhere in the world.
expatpho.net
provides private numbers that forward SMS and 2FA (2 Factor
Authentication) text messages to your email inbox. You can securely
use our numbers with any service that sends you text messages, like
with your bank or any online account.
Our numbers only support receiving SMS messages and forwarding them to an email address.
What is supported âś…
We do not support ❌
expatpho.net
numbers can receive messages from all mobile numbers and about four
out of five 2FA providers provided that the phone number sending the
text is from the same country (i.e A US
expatpho.net
number can only receive from a sending US phone number).
More on US numbers:
You cannot use mobile numbers without a sim card (and expensive
contract). We do not have our customers use sim cards. This means we
can only provide “local” numbers (landline that can receive sms)
instead of “mobile” numbers to customers. We have found most 2FA
services still work with our numbers, but sometimes, they will not
send 2FA if a number is not a “mobile” number (i.e whatsapp requires a
mobile number and won’t work with an
expatpho.net
number)
What if my provider doesn’t work?
If you have issues with any 2FA service, please let us know at
support@expatpho.net and we can try to fix it. If you’d like to be
sure everything works, we recommend buying our yearly plan, adding all
your 2FA providers, and if one doesn’t work within the free refund
period, we’ll happily give all your money back, no questions asked.
If you have issues with any 2FA service or don’t find expatpho.net useful, please let us know at support@expatpho.net and we can happily grant a refund (if you have purchased the yearly subscription and its within the free period time).
Feel free to reach out to us about anything at support@expatpho.net or thoughts@expatpho.net.
